Raleigh was recently designated as the 2nd fastest growing metropolitan area on the nation, and its need for an enduring gospel presence has only grown. Midtown Community Church now exists as a new community sharing new life for the sake of a renewed city.

Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) at Appalachian State seeks to reach college students for Christ and equip them to serve. This means that RUF exists for both Christians and non-Christians. Led by Matt and Kathryn Howell, RUF desires to see real transformation happen in the lives of college students as they engage with the risen Jesus as revealed in the Bible. The vision of RUF flows from a commitment to seeing three things intersect: the historic gospel ('Reformed'), the context of college ('University'), and the church ('Fellowship').
